We had a free weekend so we decided to take the girls camping at Lake Ray Roberts. The weather was nice but it ended up being really windy and a storm was headed into town. So we ended up staying just Friday night and heading home Saturday after fishing, playing at the park, going on a bike ride, and cooking lunch and smores.

Halloween 2012
Halloween 2012 was a bit of a headache. We were battling a case of head lice at the house and I was at my wits end with picking at the girls (just Samantha and Raegan's) heads. The day of Halloween, a Wednesday, Samantha was sent home with more lice. So we had to treat heads before we went out to trick-or-treat. Because we were treating heads, we missed the pre-party at the Greenwood's house. We did meet up with everyone shortly after they started trick-or-treating and had lots of fun begging for candy. Raegan was an 80s Valley Girl. Samantha was SuperWoman. Mallory was WonderWoman. They all had fun TOTing with their buddies and we ended the night with soup and drinks at the Helms' Lodge.
Trunk-or-Treat at Premier Academy
Premier Academy held a Trunk-or-Treat in the parking lot. Bubbie and Grandpa opened the trunk of their car to hand out candy to eager little preschoolers. The girls had fun with their friends. They really enjoy their time at Premier Academy and especially love their friends Maggie, Vendela, and Mady.
Family Pumpkin Carving Night
The Johnsons, Sharers, and Kiernans all came over for soup and pumpkin carving a few days before Halloween. Samantha and Mallory drew their own faces on their pumpkins and enjoyed doing that. Raegan and Sloane did the same. Ellie and Cammie weren't too interested, not for long anyway. The kids all made some good pumpkins and the adults made some good ones too!
Think Pink!
The Fever girls showed their support for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research by wearing pink socks and pink bows during the month of October. Raegan looked especially cute in her pink things. Fever Black finished the fall season in TGPL in 7th place, not too great but not too shabby for playing with the top 10 teams.
Samantha and Mallory's 1st Field Trip!
Samantha and Mallory went on their 1st field trip with Premier Academy. They were so excited to ride on the bus. I was able to go along and enjoy their field trip. They went to the Pumpkin Patch in Flower Mound, where we had just been a few days before. But it was a different experience with their friends from school. Mallory's buddy was Maggie and Samantha's buddy was Vendela (a little girl who just came from Sweden and doesn't speak much English). The field trip was a blast for everyone!
Pumpkin Patch 2012
As always we headed to the Pumpkin Patch in Flower Mound. The girls had a great time bouncing in the bounce house, eating snow cones and kettlecorn, having their faces painted, going on a hayride, and checking out all of the pumpkins.
