NT scan report!

We had the NT scan today to look for signs of Down's Syndrome and the babies passed with flying colors! Both babies had nice, flat necks. They were both measuring a few days ahead and had heartrates of 154 and 155 bpm. Here are the 3D pics. The sonogram was just too cool today! We of course have another sonogram in 2 weeks, that won't be 3D. I'm hoping that the PA will look for little pee-pees or little vaginas. :)

Growing!

I haven't posted in awhile so I figured I would update everyone with some pics too. Both babies are doing well. We go for another sonogram on Wednesday and it will be a 4D one. We're hoping to get a peak at the sexes of the babies but it will be pretty early! I'm doing well, feeling great but always tired. Anyway, onto the pics...

TWINS!

What more can I say, we're having TWINS!

Obviously the ultrasound went wonderfully yesterday. Right away they saw both babies. Baby A (or Ethel) is measuring a day ahead and has a heartrate of 130bpm. Baby B (or Fred) is measuring right where he or she should and has a heartrate of 120bpm.

The estimated due date is May 22, 2008. That is 40 weeks and there is NO WAY I'm making it that long! Remember Raegan was a BIG baby. I can't imagine what my body will look like in May!

Anyway, Bryan and I are very excited about the news but rather nervous at the same time. We are not telling Raegan for at least 3 more weeks so please don't let it slip to her!

5 weeks, 1 day and feeling great!

Nothing much to report other than a little bit of sore ta-tas and being tired. I feel great otherwise. I went in yesterday for my second beta. Numbers look great! 19dpo=1523. Still in the range for multiples but only time will tell. My ultrasound is scheduled for Oct. 4th and I don't think I can stand the wait! I also made an appointment with a regular OB for Oct. 11th. I hoping I like her as I didn't have great luck with my other OB, mainly her office staff.

I'm off to play with Raegan and get ready for soccer practice!

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!

I got a positive blood test today! I am in utter shock as I have no symptoms really. NOTHING like when I was pregnant with Raegan or the miscarriage from November. I had really lost all hope earlier this week because I was spotting and just not feeling anything. But I got the news this afternoon that I am DEFINITELY pregnant! I can't believe it. My HCG count was 306. So now the next step is another blood test on Tuesday to check HCG and progesterone. Hopefully at that point I will be able to stop the PIO shots. Then a sonogram probably around 7 weeks to see if 1 or 2 of those embryos implanted.

Whhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww! This has been a long and stressful event but it all turned out great so far!

Transfer is done! Babies are hopefully in place!

Well the transfer yesterday went really well. We transferred 2 Grade B Expanding Blasts, both very excellent quality. Nothing special to the transfer. I did have to lay on the bed for an hour afterwards. Of course I had to pee like no other. The nurse offered me a bed pan. WTH! I'll just hold it!

One embryo was frozen yesterday but it's unlikely that they will freeze anymore today. The lab we used is SUPER picky about freezing. They say that they don't want to freeze something that is not going to turn into a baby. I guess that's great but I was hoping to freeze at least 2. BUT, I was one of the lucky 20% of ladies that even gets to freeze!

So, onto the long wait! I will find out on Thursday, Sept 13th if one or any of the embryos found a place in my body. Everything is crossed! Here is a pic of my embabies! (It's a pic of a pic so ignore the blurriness)
