Christmas Cookies with the Johnsons

We headed over to mom's house to make Christmas cookies with mom and Aunt Carole. Sloane and her friend, Frankie, were also there. The little girls had more fun licking the icing off of the knives. They also enjoyed rolling the dough. They were much more involved with this tradition this year! The cookies even tasted good!

Visiting Santa at the Galleria

This year we took a chance and visited Santa at the Galleria. Normally we go to Bass Pro and wait in enormous lines! But we met the Shepherds at the Galleria and saw Santa. Then we headed down to Grande Lux for brunch with the Wilsons. After brunch we took all of the kids ice skating (no pics sorry). The kids all had a blast, including Sam and Mal. Bryan and I had backaches for days! But next year they will be able to skate more on their own, hopefully.

Making cookies with the cheer friends

The Wilsons invited the Trophy Club cheer girls over to make cookies and do a few crafts. Madeline, Raegan, Rylan, and Abigail all cheered on the same squad this year and are good friends. The girls decorated cookies and made some ornaments. They also exchanged a few gifts. What a fun time with friends and moms too!

Raegan's School Christmas Party

I was able to attend Raegan's school party again this year. The kids all made gingerbread houses, drank hot chocolate, and had snacks. Fun time had by all!

Gingerbread House Building

Ingrid and Ron Williams sent the girls this fabulous Gingerbread house (or mansion as we called it). The girls had lots of fun putting it together. Aunt Carole came over to help corral them and put icing where it needed to go. The girls each got 2 sides to decorate and then we put it all together. Very eclectic. They had a blast making their mansion! Thanks Ingrid and Ron!!!

The Sharer Christmas Picture

Bryan's parents send pictures of the grandgirls out with their Christmas cards every year. The girls always wear matching PJs in front of their tree. It's almost impossible to get them all looking and smiling at the same time. And then with 3 cameras in the way, they are never looking in the right direction. Maybe we'll figure it out next year? Either way, we got some good pics of the girls with their cousin, Cammie.

Sloane turns 12!

I can't believe Sloane is 12! She has really grown up in the past year. Sloane is head to head with me in height (5'7") and is wearing a size 11 women's shoe! She is going to be a tall little lady sooner than we want. Sloane took some friends to the Cheesecake Factory and then had some girls spend the night. She invited Raegan to go to dinner with them and she was happy about that. We also celebrated Sloane's birthday after going to the tree farm. Ellie obviously liked the cake!

Happy Birthday Sloane!
