Playing with Cousins

The weather was so nice in September. The girls had several opportunities to play outside. This happened to be a Sunday night dinner at our house, with Aaron, Sloane, Ellie, and Frankie. The girls dragged all of the riding toys outside and had a great time playing. Check out the poses by Mallory and Raegan. They are quite the characters these days!

A Day off Work and School

The girls and I had the day off for "Fair Day". Instead of going to the State Fair, we decided to take a trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo. When I picked Sloane up to go, Frankie was there. So she went along with us. The girls love the zoo and it was a perfect day out! Just me and the girls!

Pool construction begins

Well we are super excited at the Sharer house about the construction we have going on. We made the decision to start on the pool and garage at the same time because the foundation rep had the great idea to use the dirt from the pool dig to level the plot for the garage foundation. So this meant getting going on the pool estimates and making some decisions. We decided to go with Paul VanGorp because of a few recommendations, the fact that he's a local Trophy Club resident, and because of the deal he got us.

The construction started with removing 10 trees to make room for the pool and garage and to just clean up the front yard a bit. Bubbie had a little cryfest and there was a big mess in the yard, but all went well. Paul came and drew a pictures of the pool on the ground before they dug it. The girls have had fun playing in the pool lately, because this is how it sits now until some more things get done on the garage. And that progress will be another post in the future!

The gunite went in quickly. The girls have had a good time getting inside the pool and running around.

Finished house...

...well most of it anyway. I finally have all the boxes unpacked and things put away. Of course, mom is occupying 3 closets. So when she moves to HSV for good, I will rearrange things out of the girls' closets. But for the most part, things are in place and we are happy with all of the changes that we made.

BNHS Homecoming

Raegan is on a great cheer squad this year. They have done a lot together. So of course Homecoming was no exception to the togetherness. The girls participated in the homecoming parade in Trophy Club. We also decided to go to homecoming this year with the Wilsons, Shepherds, Ladewigs, Causseys, and Schmuckers. And of course the little girls needed mums like Raegan. The girls had a blast at homecoming. They enjoyed playing with their friends and watching the cheerleaders. It was a great time!

Misc. Sports

We've been busy with sports as you can imagine. We went to see Sloane play in a volleyball tournament in BFE. Sloane is playing on the A team at Medlin. She is playing well. The team didn't do very well for this tournament though.

Raegan was asked to play in a futsal league with another team. The league plays in Dallas off 635 and Preston. We decided to have Raegan play with Coach Stephen. She knows a few of the girls on the team and is getting to know the others. Raegan is having a good time and her foot skills are coming along nicely.

Soccer tournament. SO VERY HOT OUTSIDE. Solar did not place well in this tournament. But I think Raegan had a good time.

1st day of 3rd grade!!

I have a 3rd grader and I just can't believe she is in 3rd grade already. I remember her first day of kindergarten like it was just a few weeks ago. At any rate, the first day looked a little different this year. Since we moved, we've had to find a new picture place at the house. We used a tree in the front, like our old house, and the front door. On the first day of school, Bryan and I took Raegan to have donuts with Ms. Jamma. Then we took pics in every place we normally do. Such a pretty girl we have and she's had a fantastic start to 3rd grade!
