Easter Fun!

We had a good Easter again this year. We hosted, as we normally do. The Sharer's, Kiernan's, Johnson's and young Johnson's all attended. Oh and Hilary Klotz, mom's god-daughter was here too. For the most part, everything went great! The weather was a bit iffy but the rain cleared out so we could do the Easter egg hunt outside. Next year, we will have to have 2 different hunts, one for the Sloane and Raegan and one for all the babies! It will be lots of fun!

Here are a few pictures from the day. I've also included a picture from the Race for the Cure that was this weekend. Mom is cancer free for 13 years now! Very cool!

11 months!

We are cruising right along and almost 1! We went on our second trip to the beach this month. We went with mommy, Raegan, Sloane, and Bubbie and we were ROCKSTARS! We were so good in the car and just about everywhere we went. Mommy has decided that traveling with us is not bad at all. We enjoyed the beach much more this time than when we were 3 months old. We loved the sand and thought it tasted just great. We also really wanted in the water and we got to get wet a few times. On the way back from the beach, we got to go see some natural caverns and that was pretty cool too! Our trip was a big success and we can't wait for this year's Girls' Trip (especially because Baby Ellie will be here!)


From Samantha- I am cruising a lot. I will walk holding on to someone's fingers and can push my walker really well. I might be walking unassisted by a year, we'll see. I now have 4 teeth and my first ear infection as well. I'm on antiobiotics right now but I'm still super happy about life. Mrs. Sherry tells mommy that I'm the boss and take things from all the kids at daycare, regardless of their age or size. I especially like to crawl all over my sister and Kelli, a friend at daycare. She doesn't like it one bit though. I'm fiesty, fiesty, fiesty!

From Mallory- I'm still pulling up on things and will cruise furniture some. I'm not too sure about walking though. Crawling is just too fun and I'm fast. It's doubtful that I'll be walking this month but when I do, I will take off! I have 7 teeth! I am just as Mellow as I can be most of the time. When we went to the beach and stayed with Grandpa GG's friends, Emily nicknamed me Mellow Mallory. It's rather fitting. I still get beat up by my sister and don't like it one bit. Someone tell her to stop!

Well next month we will be one and mommy just doesn't know where the time went. She is busy getting ready for Baby Ellie's baby shower this weekend. After that, she is going to go hog-wild on our party. Raegan tells us that this is normal but we haven't witnessed it yet. We are having a Cat in the Hat party and we will be appearing as Thing 1 and Thing 2! We can't wait to share pictures with you.

Going for a bike ride with the girls.

This was the first time they enjoyed their bike ride. Last time they didn't fit very well in the seats.

Spooky joins the girls EVERY morning for their morning bottle. He loves the babies. He also joins them after bathtime.

Speaking of bathtime, we took the bath seats out of the tub since they just wanted to stand up all the time. Now Raegan has enough room to take a bath with them. She enjoys it!

We discovered markers and Mallory figured out that they have tops that come off!

An update of sorts!

We are back from our Spring Break Beach trip. We all had a great time. The babies were fabulous in the car and really the entire trip. Raegan was great. Sloane was great. They only had one tiff on the way home. We had 2 days of rain and 2 days of sun. We spent one day of rain at the aquarium. The next day we didn't have rain until the afternoon so the girls were able to play on the beach at the condo for a while. The 2 days of sun we spent in Port Aransas. We also went on the Dolphin boat again with T-Jo. On the way home we stopped at the Natural Bridge Caverns outside of San Antonio. It was very cool and the girls loved it.

As far as the babies and what they are doing, here is that update:

Samantha- crawling, pulling up, cruising furniture, starting to walk behind her walker, 3 teeth now, waving, clapping, and being a drama queen at all times.

Mallory- crawling and no longer dropping and dragging, pulling up, haven't tried the walker yet, 7 teeth, waving, clapping, imitating words "more" when eating and "bird" on the beach, and being Mellow Mallory.

Raegan- playing outdoor soccer and getting ready to start indoor, trying a new gymnastics place, reading better everyday, adding one and some 2 digit numbers, attending in school much better (thank you Vyvanse), playing outside with friends all the time and maintaining her drama queen status.
