4th of July

4th of July was the normal party for the Sharer family. We started the festivities at the pool with the opening of the Splash Pad. Then we watched the parade and caught what little candy they threw. Then we all headed to the Shepherd's house for a little barbeque and friends gathering. This year we decided to watch the fireworks at the country club with family. S & M are enjoying holidays more. They are getting to the age that they can play with friends and not be supervised so closely. And we can skip naps when we need to. It was another great holiday!

FC Dallas Game with our Odyssey Family

The Odyssey girls had the opportunity to go see a professional FC Dallas game. They also were allowed to go down on the field to welcome the players and sing the national anthem. It was a great time for all the kids and parents. At the end of the game, we stayed to watch the Frisco fireworks from our seats. Fun times had by all!

7th Annual Girls' Beach Trip

I'm posting these a little late but we've been busy!

We went to Rockport/Port Aransas for the 7th summer in a row. This year Lydia was able to join us again, Hilary Klotz went, and of course Ellie was a new member at the beach. Sloane brought her BFF Savanah also. The girls all had a great time. The weather was awesome. We had some issues with sleeping (my twins). But other than that, it was a great time! I look forward to going down again next year!

BNHS Summer Swagger Dance Camp

Raegan went to a dance camp at BNHS. Her good friends Madeline, Nicole and Ashley also attended. It was super cute to watch the girls perform. Raegan did pretty well for never doing dance before. Hopefully this camp will give her some practice for her upcoming cheer team.

Raegan's Family Party

In true 'young' Sharer tradition, we always celebrate birthdays at least twice. So on Raegan's real birthday we had the family party. The Claeys clan was in town from Iowa. So we had a rather large gathering. We borrowed an inflatable waterslide, ate pizza and cake, and the kids all had a blast.

We started Raegan's birthday celebration at the donut shop with Ms. Jamma. The girls always get BIG donuts on their birthdays. So we all loaded up in the car and went for donuts. It was yummy of course!
